Document Description: This document provides a detailed instruction for using the school online portal / online classes / services in a question answer format

Q 1. What is fedena ?

Fedena is an online school management system software that simplifies the institute's academic & administrative process effortlessly.

Q 2. How to access fedena ?

Option 1 :

Visit the following link in a computer browser

option 2:

Download and install “National Private school” mobile app from Playstore/Appstore. Currently not available for Huawei platform

Q 3. Is the fedena message is the only place where the parent gets the communication?

No. Some of the important announcements will be sent to parent as SMS also.

Q 4. What is the username and password for the fedena ?

Each student has an GR no. The GR no is the username for the fedena.

For example: s204

Fedena Password : Initially the school IT dept provides the parent with an SMS with the password at the admission time. If you don’t have an one or forgot your password you can contact the school IT Support WhatsApp no 72722189

Q 5. How do i reset my fedena password at my own if I lost the password?

Yes. You can do that. For that your personal email address should be provided to us at the time of admission. You can contact the WhatsApp no for any data update if you have not provided earlier.

Q 6. What other useful features available with mobile app ?

Notifications, Assignments, Online Exam, Events , Attendance , Fees report, Announcements , Time Table, Subjects, Exam Reports etc..

Note : The computer based browser has many more features.

Using the fedena login link in mobile browser will not give you all the features and the features are very limited, until unless you switch to a desktop version of browser option available in some mobile platforms

Q 7. School online classes are conducted in which platform?

Currently Google meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams are the most commonly used platforms for online classes in the world. National Private School Alkhuwair and Mabelah branch uses Zoom Platform

Q 8. Is there a username and password required to login to zoom application?

Yes. Other than the meeting id and password, You need to sign with google account to the zoom at the first time for security and authenticated access.

Q 9. What is the google account used for zoom ? can I use my personal gmail account?

No. The Zoom will accept only the school provided google account.

For example : s204@npschool.net

Just for your understanding, s204 is the GR no of the student.

Important: while sign in make sure to click on “sign in with google account” or the google logo appear on the Zoom Application login screen. Kindly do not enter the username and password in the general login field of Zoom.

Q 10. What about the zoom password?

Initially the school IT Dept sent a Password to Parent mobile no as an SMS.

If you don’t have one or forgot the password get in touch with school WhatsApp no 72722189

Conclusion:

To access online classes the student has to login to fedena online portal or the NPS mobile app and click on the zoom invitation send by the respective teacher under the messages section.

The time table also can be viewed in the portal.

The student can send messages to respective subject teacher through the portal messages section.
